Amerikalinjen is a beautiful boutique hotel in the centre of Oslo. Their bar manager Slavomir Kytka approached us to design and build a custom drinks trolley meant for a special room service experience. The trolley needed to be fully functioning and able to produce a high standard cocktail menu, all while fulfilling a level of theatrical service for the guest. The working surface of the trolley is the stage, the drink making is the show, and the hand crafted tambour cover is the red curtain to signal the start and end of the experience.
