Plah, a progressive Thai restaurant nestled inside the Sommerro Hotel in Oslo, Norway, offers a seasonal tasting menu in two distinct settings: the dining room, featuring a 17-seat counter bar around the kitchen, and the emerald room, a private space for an intimate dining experience.
Behind Bars developed their signature drink trolley—a bespoke creation crafted from scratch for Terje Ommundsen and the Plah restaurant team. The venue takes you on a culinary journey, and before indulging in their imaginative dishes, the signature trolley adds an experiential touch. Designed to facilitate both food and drink preparation, it allows guests to enjoy a pre-dinner drink before entering the restaurant area.
Complete with a crêpe flambé burner and a hidden ice well, the trolley is equipped for both function and style. Beneath its top surface lies ample room for glassware, stoneware, and tools, each with its own custom-built compartment.
Clad with oak panels and adorned with a lush green stone top, the unit seamlessly integrates into the aesthetic of the Plah venue, complementing its lively atmosphere and attentive service.
